I'm Colton Williges, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #159580) practicing in Kearny Mesa, San Diego. My work centers on trauma — the childhood and developmental experiences that quietly organize adult life, and the relational injuries that keep repeating in present-day partnerships.
How I work
My approach is trauma-focused and attachment-informed. I have completed basic training in EMDR and integrate it where it serves the work, alongside relational and somatically aware methods. The pace is set by your nervous system, not a protocol.
Supervision as a strength
As an associate, I practice under the formal clinical supervision of Dr. Jason N. Linder, PsyD. Practically, that means every case I carry is reviewed and supported by a seasoned doctoral-level clinician — a structural layer of quality you don't get in solo licensed practice.
